CT Coronary Angiogram

CT Coronary Angiogram is used to evaluate the presence or absence of stenosis or occlusions of coronary arteries or the state of calcification of coronary arteries.

CT Coronary Angiogram can accurately detect coronary calcium and the state of coronary atherosclerosis. A calcium score is calculated and obtained after scanning, which will deduce the probability of incidence of coronary heart disease. This score is also used by doctor to determine whether or not patient should receive angioplasty procedure or bypass surgery.
