Treadmill Exercise Test

Examinee’s cardiac load will be monitored by progressive treadmill exercise to examine blood supply in correspondence with increased heart rate. Alterations in ECG (in addition to symptoms of chest pain or dyspnea) signifies insufficient blood supply to the heart due to arterial stenosis caused by moderate-to-severe CHD.

This exercise can also be used to test the arrhythmias related to exercising.

Method of Examination

Patient will commence treadmill exercise after the electrodes are attached onto the chest. Treadmill speed and inclination will be altered automatically for doctors to record patient’s ECG and analyze the results.
